I am very thankful for all those that make KLRC possible! There are many reasons for that, but the most important to me are all the ways KLRC helps our community. There are so many people touched by this station that goes above and beyond.
The Pay it Forward campaign is so awesome. I wish we could all feel this kind of giving spirit all year long. There are so many families helped, yet so many more in need. Our church, like many others, try to help with Christmas gifts for those in need. That gives me joy to take part in it, but there are some families that need so much more, we want to give toys and items they don’t have to have, but we wish we could provide all the things they need, like shoes and coats.
These kids will tell you that they will be happy with anything, and I know that is true because I was one of these kids. I wish so much that I were able to pay it forward for these kids, so that they could have more than what they need, but also what they never thought they could have.
I know that I cannot do it all, but I thank you KLRC for doing what you can to help your community. I also pray that our community will take it from you guys and pass it on to those around them that they can make a positive difference for, in God’s holy name.
