A KLRC Christmas
You already know that if there’s one thing this ministry is all about, it’s sharing hope in Christ. In fact, our mission is to “Share hope in Christ through media with as many people as possible.” The Apostle Paul (who was pretty good at reaching people for Christ!) wrote, “I have become all things to all people that I might by all means save some” (1 Cor. 9:22, NKJV). We have an idea on how we can follow Paul’s lead and would like to ask your help in making it happen.
As you know, the Christmas season is a great opportunity to tell people about Jesus. Beginning on Thanksgiving night through Christmas day, KLRC will be playing all Christmas music. We strongly believe it will be a great way to reach people who don’t normally listen to KLRC, but we can serve them by being their source for Christmas music!
The idea has been on our hearts for some time, and we need your help. Our strategy is to use Christmas music to reach as many people as we can, especially those who don’t normally listen to us. When you hear these songs, please pray for new listeners of KLRC. Our commitment to you is that once these new listeners tune in to KLRC, they will not only hear all their favorite Christmas songs, they are going to clearly hear the real story of Christmas, and the hope that we are all about!
We’d also like your help telling our community about what we’re doing. Talk to your friends, co-workers, neighbors, and family members and invite them to listen to KLRC. Together we can let people know about our efforts, and see what God will do in their hearts this Christmas!
We know you may have questions or comments about this special Christmas outreach, so please feel free to let us know. In January we’ll let you know how it went.
