Arkansas Support Network Christmas (Donations)
Location: Arkansas Support Network
Arkansas Support Network is in desperate need of your help. We serve individuals with disabilities and their families in NWA. Every year, we provide holiday food, warm clothes, and gifts to individuals with disablities who would otherwise not have a Christmas. This year, we have over 200 qualified individuals (adults and children) and we are needing community support to meet these needs. Without community help, these adults and children will go without. The Arkansas Air & Military Museum Third Annual Aviator Ball (Banquet)
Location: World War II hangar at Drake Field, Fayetteville
Our annual Aviator Ball is not only a popular fun event but the money raised helps us maintain the Arkansas Air & Military Museum – one of Northwest Arkansas’ top attractions. The doors open at 1830 hours (6:30 pm). Tickets, which are $50 each, are available at the door but reservations are needed. Dress is casual. War Eagle Mill’s Fall Craft Fair (Craft Fair)

Gallons To-Go Fundraiser (Fundraiser)
Location: Chick-fil-A, Rogers
Chick-fil-A (Rogers' stores only) is having a Tea Fundraiser for the SCC the month of October. For each gallon of tea sold in October, Chick-fil-A will donate $1 to the Samaritan Community Center.
Revival and Fall Festival (Revival)
Location: First Baptist Church, Colcord, OK
First Baptist Church of Colcord, OK is hold a week-end revival and fall festival this week-end the 19th, 20th, and 21st of October. Service times are Friday 7 PM, Saturday 2 PM and Sunday morning services at the regular times of 10 and 11 AM. Alan Winberry of Immanuel Southern Baptist Church in Salem, AR will be preaching and various groups and individuals will provide special music. Following the worship services on Saturday there will be food and fellowship as we celebrate 60 years of serving God in Colcord. We cordially invite you to come and join us in worship and celebration as we seek God Grace in Revival.

The Samaritan Community Center is participating in a promotion with Citgo entitled FuelingGood in which 12 charities will receive one year’s worth of fuel for their organization vehicles. The organizations with the largest number of on-line votes will win. Voting begins today and continues every day through November 28th.
4th Annual Congo Awareness Week (Fundraiser)
Location: First Christian Church, Fayetteville
It's the 4th Annual Congo Awareness Week to raise awareness and funds for ongoing programs in the Democratic Republic of Congo that address children’s issues and medical emergencies. On Sunday, October 14, during the 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. services the church will host a “Confections and Crafts for Congo” bake sale. Homemade items will be sold for a donation, and there will be handcrafted Congolese items to bid upon. All proceeds will benefit Our Family Africa’s childhood nutrition program that is working to combat malnutrition and starvation in Congo.

Marlin Memory Mile (Charity Event)

Memory walk to honor loved ones with cancer. There will be face painting, inflatable bouncy houses, hot dogs and drinks, silent auction, kids races, and door prizes! Autumn's ReRide Youth Ranch Rib Lunch Fundraiser (Fundraiser)

Fearless Youth will be hosting a spaghetti dinner on October 20th. Spaghetti, salad and drink for $5.00. Half proceeds will go for our youth fund and half will go for the House of God food pantry supplies.
Honduran Children's Benefit (Fundraiser)

On October 20th, we will hold our 6th annual Honduran Children's Benefit to raise money for children in Honduras who without our support would not have the opportunity to go to school. The event includes a chili cook-off, silent auction, live auction and a performance by First Day. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the door. All of the proceeds are sent to Honduras to purchase uniforms and school supplies. Please come and be a part of this event. Help a child go to school, where they can learn to read and impact their lives for an eternity by giving them the opportunity to read God's word for themselves.
Broken Shackles (Youth Event)

At Broken Shackles, our hope is that teens will be re-emboldened to "fight the good fight of faith" in a crazy and meaningful way (1 Timothy 6:12). In order to accomplish this goal, we will spend the evening in worship (lead by the worship teams of three different churches), study (lead by teens and adults from local churches), and fellowship (if Jesus fed 5,000 people, I think we can give it a try). Every minute will be spent either building up our youth in their passion for God or praising Him with all the passion that is in us. The fun part: we need help! To pull off this event, we need any help you can give either through monetary funding or volunteers.
