Gallons To-Go Fundraiser (Fundraiser)
Location: Chick-fil-A, Rogers

Chick-fil-A (Rogers' stores only) is having a Tea Fundraiser for the SCC the month of October. For each gallon of tea sold in October, Chick-fil-A will donate $1 to the Samaritan Community Center.

Revival and Fall Festival (Revival)
Location: First Baptist Church, Colcord, OK

First Baptist Church of Colcord, OK is hold a week-end revival and fall festival this week-end the 19th, 20th, and 21st of October. Service times are Friday 7 PM, Saturday 2 PM and Sunday morning services at the regular times of 10 and 11 AM. Alan Winberry of Immanuel Southern Baptist Church in Salem, AR will be preaching and various groups and individuals will provide special music. Following the worship services on Saturday there will be food and fellowship as we celebrate 60 years of serving God in Colcord. We cordially invite you to come and join us in worship and celebration as we seek God Grace in Revival.

Fueling Good (Competition)

The Samaritan Community Center is participating in a promotion with Citgo entitled FuelingGood in which 12 charities will receive one year’s worth of fuel for their organization vehicles. The organizations with the largest number of on-line votes will win. Voting begins today and continues every day through November 28th.

4th Annual Congo Awareness Week (Fundraiser)
Location: First Christian Church, Fayetteville

It's the 4th Annual Congo Awareness Week to raise awareness and funds for ongoing programs in the Democratic Republic of Congo that address children’s issues and medical emergencies. On Sunday, October 14, during the 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. services the church will host a “Confections and Crafts for Congo” bake sale. Homemade items will be sold for a donation, and there will be handcrafted Congolese items to bid upon. All proceeds will benefit Our Family Africa’s childhood nutrition program that is working to combat malnutrition and starvation in Congo.

Arkansas Support Network is in desperate need of your help. We serve individuals with disabilities and their families in NWA. Every year, we provide holiday food, warm clothes, and gifts to individuals with disablities who would otherwise not have a Christmas. This year, we have over 200 qualified individuals (adults and children) and we are needing community support to meet these needs. Without community help, these adults and children will go without. Collecting any and all pet related items for the Rogers Animal Shelter and Humane Society of the Ozarks from October 15-November 2. Put on by Business Ethics class group at the University of Arkansas.

Mid-America Food Ministry (Community Outreach)

Mid-America Food Ministry is your opportunity to purchase a low-cost, high-quality box of food to help your family make ends meet in these difficult times.
