Wisdom at Work Conference (Conference)
Location: University of Arkansas, Fayettevill

This conference will be a place where leading edge thinkers and practitioners from the business community, the academic community, the non-profit community and the faith/spiritual community can come together to dialogue about the challenges and opportunities with integrating faith and spirituality in the workplace. The conference will focus on action-oriented outcomes such as collaborative research, co-created programs, and interdisciplinary writing projects. Who Should Attend? Business Leaders, Academics, Faith and Spiritual Leaders, Change Agents, Students. There will be free pre-conference workshops.

Arkansas Support Network Christmas (Donations)
Location: Arkansas Support Network

Arkansas Support Network is in desperate need of your help. We serve individuals with disabilities and their families in NWA. Every year, we provide holiday food, warm clothes, and gifts to individuals with disablities who would otherwise not have a Christmas. This year, we have over 200 qualified individuals (adults and children) and we are needing community support to meet these needs. Without community help, these adults and children will go without. The Samaritan Community Center is participating in a promotion with Citgo entitled FuelingGood in which 12 charities will receive one year’s worth of fuel for their organization vehicles. The organizations with the largest number of on-line votes will win. Voting begins today and continues every day through November 28th.

Helping Hands for the Animal Shelter and Humane Society (Donations)
Time: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Location: United Bank and First Security Bank locations of NWA, Locomotion Family Fun Center, Boomerang Carwash on Walnut in Rogers

Collecting any and all pet related items for the Rogers Animal Shelter and Humane Society of the Ozarks from October 15-November 2. Put on by Business Ethics class group at the University of Arkansas.

Circle of Life Grief Support Group (Support Group)
Time: 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM
Location: Berryville Senior Center 202 West Madison Avenue

A drop-in grief support group hosted by Circle of Life for people who have lost a family member, friend or loved one. Questions can be directed to 479-872-3338

Sandy and Wayne Warmack, state directors for John G. Lake Ministries, are available to minister in physical healing each thursday. Walk-ins are welcome. The ministry is based on scriptual based instruction. For more information, go to www.gwhr.us
