Alzheimer's/Dementia Family Support Group (Support Group)

Growing Opportunities Inc. Pilot Project (Community Outreach)
Time: 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Location: Tontitown, Arkansas
We are piloting a project meant to assist those with "agriculture" disabilities, or "brown thumbs." We are holding classes in Tontitown offering instruction on everything from seed planting, to transplanting to a garden. Including hands on experience with farm animals, and for those interested, support with an entry in the Washington County Fair. We will meet on Saturday's bimonthly through May for 6 sessions. Dr. Quinn's Health Talk: How your heart and liver affect your weight (Library Event)
Time: 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM
Location: Fayetteville Public Library Board Room
Dr. Orie Quinn will be giving a presentation on how the health of your heart and liver affect your weight. It will be insightful information on how normal-day foods can potentially be harmful to your health and cause weight gain. It will be free, educational, and could have a drastic impact on your health.
