Growing Opportunities Inc. Pilot Project (Community Outreach)

We are piloting a project meant to assist those with "agriculture" disabilities, or "brown thumbs." We are holding classes in Tontitown offering instruction on everything from seed planting, to transplanting to a garden. Including hands on experience with farm animals, and for those interested, support with an entry in the Washington County Fair. We will meet on Saturday's bimonthly through May for 6 sessions. DivorceCare, a special help seminar and support group for people currently experiencing, have been through, or are thinking about divorce and /or separation, will be held on Sunday evenings at First Baptist Church Rogers. Childcare is available. DivorceCare features nationally recognized experts on divorce and recovery topics. Seminar sessions include, “Facing My Anger”, “Facing My Loneliness”, “New Relationships”, “KidCare”, and “Forgiveness”. Meetings will be held from 4:30-6PM and the cost is $15 for the workbook.
