The Jesus Journey (Easter drama)
Time: 7:00 AMLocation: Immanuel Baptist Church
Come hear the story of Jesus from the men who followed Him.Several hundred members of the Church are preparing for what has become a tradition for this fellowship. During Easter week (March 28-31) the church will host five presentations of this year’s drama. The presentations are, Thursday (7 p.m.), Friday (7 p.m.), Saturday (2 p.m. and 7 p.m.) and Sunday (6 p.m.). The church meets at the Global Outreach Center, 2555 So. 26th Street in Rogers, AR and is in their 1,000 seat Worship Center. You can call the church for tickets at 479-636-1230. There are two types: reserved seating is $5 per ticket and general admission is free. Groups are encouraged to call soon.This is the story of the longest journey, the journey of the Son of God from Heaven to earth and back again. Growing Opportunities Inc. Pilot Project (Community Outreach)
Time: 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Location: Tontitown, Arkansas
We are piloting a project meant to assist those with "agriculture" disabilities, or "brown thumbs." We are holding classes in Tontitown offering instruction on everything from seed planting, to transplanting to a garden. Including hands on experience with farm animals, and for those interested, support with an entry in the Washington County Fair. We will meet on Saturday's bimonthly through May for 6 sessions. CBCO Blood Drive (Blood Drive)
Time: 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM
Location: Wachter Network Services, Lowell
CBCO needs your help to meet the growing need for blood in the Ozarks. Eligibility requirements include weighing at least 110 pounds, being in general good health and present required ID. Springdale High School Homeless Vigil (Community Event)
Time: 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM
Location: Springdale High School, Springdale, Ar
The IB Program at Springdale High School is raising money, non-perishable items, and clothing the night of March 28 in the school courtyard for the homeless people of NWA. All the items and money raised will be going to the Salvation Army.
