Kids Night Out Registration (Child Care)
Location: NWA Mercy Family YMCA
Are you looking for a night out while your kids have a blast at the Y? if so, bring your children to the YMCA’s Kids night Out! this program is offered for children 2 to14 years and involves activities such as ping pong, organized games, crafts and lots of fun! All children will be served dinner between 6:30 and 7:00 p.m. Dinner will include a slice of pizza, bag of apples and a drink. Activities start at 6:00 p.m. and run until 10:00 p.m.
Growing Opportunities Inc. Pilot Project (Community Outreach)
Time: 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Location: Tontitown, Arkansas
We are piloting a project meant to assist those with "agriculture" disabilities, or "brown thumbs." We are holding classes in Tontitown offering instruction on everything from seed planting, to transplanting to a garden. Including hands on experience with farm animals, and for those interested, support with an entry in the Washington County Fair. We will meet on Saturday's bimonthly through May for 6 sessions. Recruitment Fair for Older Workers (Senior Event)
Time: 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Location: Jones Center, 922 E. Emma Ave. in Springdale.
Older residents of Benton and Washington Counties who are having difficultly finding a job have a local resource that might be able to help. The Experience Works Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP), a nonprofit organization operating in Arkansas, provides paid community service assignments at local public and non-profit organizations, training,and job search assistance for eligible individuals. With updated skills, participants use their community service training as a springboard to permanent jobs with local employers. Experience Works will accept applications April 11, 2013, 10 am to 4 pm, at the Jones Center, 922 E. Emma Ave.in Springdale. Applicants must be age 55 or older,nemployed, live in Benton or Washington County, and have incomes of $14,363 per year or less for a family of one ($19,388 for family of two). CBCO Blood Drive (Blood Drive)
Time: 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM

CBCO needs your help to meet the growing need for blood in the Ozarks. Eligibility requirements include weighing at least 110 pounds, being in general good health and present required ID.
