Places of Refuge Seminar (Community Event)
Location: First Baptist Church, Siloam Springs
The Crisis Response Unit of Siloam Springs is sponsoring a "Places of Refuge" Seminar. They invite you to join them for a two day seminar, presented by local and national speakers, that will provide information about how to minister during times of crisis, how to begin preparing your family and community, the importance of Places or Communities of Refuge, and share with you why they believe it is important to be trained and educated in these areas. Chiefs vs. Rams Challenge Blood Drive (Blood Drive)
This year during the 14th annual Chiefs vs. Rams Challenge Blood Drive, every donor has the chance to win. All participants at any CBCO blood drive September 23rd through 29th will be automatically entered to win NFL ticket packages or autographed NFL memorabilia. Blood donors are also encouraged to vote for their favorite NFL team online. Voting opens September 23rd.
Chick-fil-A in Rogers' Samaritan Week (Food Drive)
Time: 6:00 AM to 10:30 PM
Location: Chick-fil-A at Tuscany Square & Chick-fil-A of the Scottsdale Center
Monday-Friday- All day every day donation bins will be located at either Chick-fil-A of Rogers restaurant collecting fruit cups, Ramen noodles, and oatmeal packets for the Samaritan Community Center SnackPack for the kids program. 11am-1pm Samaritan Community Staff will be available at either restaurant to answers questions. 11a-2pm Chick-fil-A of Rogers will be a "drop-off" location collecting any items for the Samaritan Center Thrift Stores. Monday Sept 23rd- "Give 2 Get 1" bring in two canned vegetables and you will receive a FREE Chicken Biscuit or Chicken Sandwich! Thursday Sept 26th - "Buy A Meal, Give A Meal" For every meal or kids meal purchased a meal will be donated to the Samaritan Community Center Cafe!
CBCO Blood Drive (Blood Drive)
Time: 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM
Location: Mercy Health System of NWA, 2710 Rife Medical Center, Rogers
CBCO needs your help to meet the growing need for blood in the Ozarks. Eligibility requirements include weighing at least 110 pounds, being in general good health and present required ID.A single blood donation can save the lives of up to three people.
Suessical Musical by Stage One Productions (Drama/Play)

Laundry Love (Community Outreach)

Location: Wright's Laundry Pea Ridge
On the last Friday of each month anyone in the community can come and wash their clothes for free! We have the quarters & the soap and will be providing dinner for anyone that's hungry!
Reading and Songs (Festival/Fair)
Time: 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM
Location: John Brown University
Giving Voice presents an evening of readings and songs with published writers Thomas Maltman, Patty Kirk, Jeanne Murray Walker, and Andrew Peterson. Each presenter performs for 20 minutes. Andrew Peterson will be at John Brown along with other writers. The evening will begin with three writers reading their works. Andrew Peterson will sing for about 20 minutes as well. This event is held at John Brown University's Simmons Great Hall.Free Admission.
