Approximately three years ago, my daughter became very ill. After weeks of doctor visits without any results, she became so sick that we took her to the emergency room to learn a few days later that she had Lupus Nephritis, an auto immune disease. Her body was attacking her kidneys, and they were only functioning at 20%. After months of prayer, blood tests and medications, she was in remission. She has since been blessed with a college degree in Engineering, a great husband, and a wonderful job.
I love KLRC because the music helps me cope with chronic pain due to fibromyalgia. Every day is hard, so I listen a lot because your music fills me with hope and strength in the midst of the pain.
I read a quote on Facebook that went something like, "A woman's heart should be hidden so deep in God's heart, that a man has to seek God to find her." And vice versa too, I suppose.
I never listened to Christian radio, but my boss supports KLRC in the workplace. One day I changed the station to KLRC just to see what he was always going on about. That was 1 month ago, and my radio at work is still on KLRC along with the car radio and the radio at home.
I have listened to KLRC all my life and it has given me hope when I had none. I may be a teenager now but me and my single mother have been through a lot. After I lost my grandmother who was like a second mother to me I looked to faith.
Recently my world has been turned upside down and this has brought my husband and I closer to The Lord, but I am struggling and needing encouragement! My husband starting listening to KLRC and I saw how encouraged he was, and I have been tuning in.
It is so hard in today's world to be a Christian in the corporate environment. I am so thankful that while I work I can pick up your radio station on my phone. Sometimes I feel so alone at work and I can pray to God to give me strength to make it through the day and turn on your radio station and it's like the perfect song gets played.
I have 3 children under 5 years old. As most know, children repeat everything. We have listened to other stations but after hearing curse words on another station we set all our stations in our car to KLRC. I explained to my 5 year old why we switched and how KLRC is always clean and good for them. He said we get to learn about Jesus too! That made me smile and made me even more certain we will always ONLY listen to KLRC.
After my husband passed away from complications of open heart surgery (at the age of 41) in April of this year, I moved back to NWA.
*I have been a faithful listener of KLRC* since we moved to Arkansas, and have enjoyed the positive music that is always playing.
