Strength and Hope

I love your radio station!! I know that whenever I turn it on, I will hear something I need to hear that day.

I have really been struggling with my faith this year, but listening to KLRC has really helped. I was sexually assaulted earlier this year and became pregnant as a result. I later found out it was twins and I struggled to accept that it was God's will that this happened. I seriously thought about just ending it all, but then I heard the song "Move" by Mercy Me on the day I was planning on killing myself. It changed my mind.

I went into labor at 28 weeks and had a boy and a girl that both weighed less than a pound. The doctors said it would be a miracle if they survived the night, ,so I contacted everyone I knew asking them to pray.

The babies are now 2 weeks old. They have serious health issues and will be in the NICU for a long time to come, but they are still alive and the doctors are amazed. I struggled with the idea that I couldn't love them, but the Lord has given me an overwhelming love for these little beings.

I know that when I don't think I can last another minute, I can turn the radio on and hear a song or a story or something that will give me the strength I need to keep going. I know that I will have many struggles in the coming months, but I know that I can get through with the Lord by my side and the prayers I receive from the people listening and the team at the station.

I thank God everyday for KLRC. Keep up the great work!
