It’s so easy to believe that we’re alone – that no one understands the things we're struggling with. Have you been there? Recently, Jennifer emailed us:
Wow, what a week! On Friday morning we wrapped up the KLRC 2018 Spring Fundraiser by hitting 100% of the goal over an hour early, all thanks to YOU and your overwhelmingly generous support!
We are so thrilled that 1900 KLRC listeners decided to go ALL IN and share hope in Jesus with a gift of support to KLRC.
After a diagnosis of anxiety and agoraphobia, Patsy decided to start playing KLRC on the radio in her bedroom 24/7. As KLRC played in the background of her day, Patsy started to see a change. She said that listening to the music really made a difference in her life.
Did you know that you can celebrate a special person or occasion through your support of KLRC?
Maybe you’ve heard the announcements on-air celebrating holidays, birthdays, anniversaries or loved ones. Those announcements are a great way to celebrate a special occasion while also supporting KLRC's ministry in a big way!
After much prayer and many hours invested in the budget process, we’ve determined the listener portion of our budget for 2018 to be $1,300,000.
We’re anticipating the need to hold two on-air fundraisers to reach our annual listener budget need. The first is happening March 13-16th during KLRC’s "All In" Spring Fundraiser. Our goal for this specific event is $810,000.
One of the awesome ways God uses KLRC is as a megaphone for the life-changing non-profits in our listening area! This year, we are excited to be partnering with Samaritan’s Feet.
Samaritan’s Feet serves and inspires hope in children by providing shoes as the foundation to a spiritual and healthy life, resulting in the advancement of education and economic opportunities
One of my favorite things is when people tell me how KLRC uplifts them at work. I close my eyes and imagine people using music as a conversation starter in their local businesses, or having a brief moment of worship in their cubicle while they get ready to tackle their workload for the day. I love hearing that KLRC serves as even a small reminder that Jesus is with us during the day-to-day. It's beautiful.
What started as a way to provide an income for her family while still spending time with her kids has turned into a ministry. Used 2B New in Fayetteville looks like a typical resale store from the outside, but once you step inside you’ll notice some differences.
One of the first things Cristy does when she arrives at the store in the morning is turn on KLRC. As someone who didn’t become a Christian until she was an adult she says that listening to Christian music has become an important part of her daily life. Being able to play KLRC in her store is just one way that Cristy and her team ministers to customers.
“All to Jesus, I freely give. As long as there’s breath in these lungs, I will live with reckless abandon, my heart in your hands. I surrender it all, I’m going all in.”
Wow! Our hearts are so full. Truly, we are in awe at how God worked through you this week to not only meet and exceed the operational needs for KLRC, but also to help put hands and feet to a vision that God has given us to reach more people than ever before with the hope of Jesus!
