An old man was gravely ill, so the pastor went to call on him. The man was not receptive. As soon as he saw the clerical collar, he turned away and refused to speak. The pastor suspected that the man’s food supply had run low. So when he left the house, he stopped at a local butcher shop and had two lamb chops sent over.

He called again in a few days and the old fellow was a bit friendlier. On his way home, the pastor left another order with the butcher.

If we could have coffee today I'd say: A lie our hearts often hear is, "I'm invisible. No one really sees me." But the truth our hearts need is, "The eyes of the Lord are on those whose hope is in His unfailing love." {Ps. 33:18}

Sometimes it can seem like the spotlight of life shines on everyone but us. She has more facebook likes. He has more accomplishments. They get far more attention. But God gently whispers to our hearts, "I see you."

Immeasurably More

You have left us speechless. That's kind of a problem in radio. :)

Minutes after 12 noon today, God provided (through you!) a total of $311,959 to officially finish the Fall Fundraiser six hours ahead of schedule. Thanks to the generous and often sacrificial gifts of so many, the operational needs of KLRC are now fully funded and… so is the biggest ministry expansion in KLRC history!

Challenged by Genna

“I started giving to KLRC when I was in 3rd grade, now I’m in 5th grade and I just love giving to KLRC.”

Genna likes to drop by the KLRC studios during our fundraisers. She’s so faithful that we’ve started looking for her smiling face to come through the doors. And she showed up bright and early on Day 1 of the Fall Fundraiser. With $10.51. Money she earned herself that she wanted to give to KLRC.

Fall Budget Breakdown

It’s Fall Fundraiser time at KLRC! Your support this week will not only help complete the funding for KLRC operations, but will also help finish the funding for KLRC’s biggest ministry expansion ever – our new signal at 90.9 FM.

As an investor in this ministry, we'd love to share some detail with you about how we steward the gifts that God entrusts to us through you.

The numbers below will provide detail on our budget for July 1, 2015 through June 30, 2016.

That's When It All Changed

It took me a while to get a radio, but my Grandma sent me some Christmas money and the first thing I bought was a radio. I would take the antenna and stick it to the top of my metal bunk and then wrap it around my toe and stick my foot up in the window with the cord so that I could hear. People would laugh at me when they walked by my room but I was going to do whatever it took.

Tanya called KLRC earlier today to make a pledge. As she was on the phone with one of our volunteers she started to tell them about how God used KLRC to rescue her from a 14 year drug addiction while she was in prison serving a 25 year sentence.

2015 Fall Fundraiser

Our fall fundraiser is officially underway! In many ways, this week is all about crossing the finish line. We started the year with a big goal – to fully fund KLRC operations for a full year and to finish funding the biggest expansion project in KLRC history.

We begin the week with hearts that are full of gratitude because thanks to a lot of friends this spring, we’re already 82% toward hitting these exciting goals!
