Mission: Autism Involves Me (AIM) has a simple mission:
To enhance the lives of people with autism by connecting the autism community and providing education and resources to family, community, and providers.
About: Autism Involves Me (AIM) was started years ago by a concerned mother of an autistic child who wanted to connect with others who were also experiencing the same challenges. AIM is an all-volunteer staff and Board of Directors and is 100% local so all dollars raised stays in Northwest Arkansas. AIM is a registered 501(c)3 organization.
Services Provided: AIM serves families impacted with autism in both direct and indirect ways:
- Family events to connect the autism community
- Partners with schools, medical providers, congress/senate members to have a broader impact
- Annual grants for assistance of a variety of needs
- Professional resources/information to inform and educate parents and caregivers
Volunteer opportunities: Each spring Autism Involves Me hosts "AIM Weekend" (Golf Tournament & Family Fun Walk) and always loves volunteers. Visit www.aimnwa.org for more information.
