About: Ozark Education, Inc. was launched in 2013 by our founder Dr. Christine Silano. Dr. Silano brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her position as founder of OCCA.
Her background includes:
17 years classroom and leadership experience at elementary, middle, high school, and college levels.
A Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Arkansas.
Arkansas licensure as a Building Administrator.
Research expertise in: dropout prevention, instructional leadership, literacy, and parent involvement.
Services: At Ozark Education, Inc., we believe that dreams can become reality when kids and their teachers are equipped with 21st century college and career readiness skills. Volunteer Opportunities: We are going to build a natural playscape at the Jones Center this summer. We would love help from people who are interested in building a beautiful play area for our community's children.
People are also welcome to observe our Montessori classroom and be involved in our summer camps and Homeschool Tuesdays.
