My mom has passed away recently from cancer. All my life, she encouraged me to listen to KLRC, and if we were in another state she had me listen to that area's Christian radio station. When she passed, I turned to you guys and listened to Christian music on YouTube just to get me through the day.
In listening to your radio station and how each one of you present Jesus with His character shining through all of you, you are touching nations. What a glorious honor to be able to hear and connect with others of the body of Christ like we get to do through the radio station.
When my husband and I first got together, he was a Jehovah's Witness. I was a Christian and listened to your station and talked about God a lot, and one day my husband started listening to your station himself. About a year later he got saved! Then, a week later (the day before Easter) he got baptized.
Everyone has been talking about loved ones that are graduating this year and I would like to tell you about someone very special. He is my 5 year old grandson, Urijah, who just graduated from Kindergarten. And, yes, I did shed some tears for more than just one reason. To me, this is my miracle baby.
Approximately three years ago, my daughter became very ill. After weeks of doctor visits without any results, she became so sick that we took her to the emergency room to learn a few days later that she had Lupus Nephritis, an auto immune disease. Her body was attacking her kidneys, and they were only functioning at 20%.
